Geberit Silent-Pro SuperTube Drainage without bypass pipes or slopes
Less duct – more options
The new Geberit Silent-Pro SuperTube fittings create space and open up a whole new world of options for planning and designing multi-storey buildings. The combination of the highly sound-insulated Geberit Silent-Pro drainage system with SuperTube technology simplifies stacks even in taller buildings:
- Drainage of multi-storey buildings without prohibited connection zones
- Horizontal pipes can be laid without a gradient for up to 6 metres with a diameter of d110 or up to 4 metres with a diameter of d90
- Bypass lines are no longer required
- Greater level of building utilisation due to higher drainage capacity
Sanitary planning with no compromises Your benefits
Eliminating the bypass makes it possible to streamline the drainage system stack.
Horizontal pipes installations allow for slopes of up to 6 mm.
Geberit Silent-Pro SuperTube branch fittings are able to achieve a 15% higher discharge capacity compared to conventional drainage systems
The room height in basements or underground car parks can be fully utilised, since the direction change bend can be routed close to the ceiling and no slope is required for lengths of up to 6 metres.
Regulated drains in the drainage system
Three sophisticated fittings result in a hydraulically optimised drainage system based on the SuperTube principle with a continuous air column throughout the entire drainage system. This ensures constant venting of the discharge pipe without a bypass.
The smooth functioning of the drainage system with Geberit Silent-Pro SuperTube has been confirmed by the independent test institute, TÜV Rheinland.

Geberit Silent-Pro SuperTube in a nutshell How the drainage system works
Conventional drainage systems require connection-free zones. Discharge pipes are vented using bypass pipes and 45° bends divert the waste water. Horizontal pipes have to have a slope in the discharge pipe. All of these requirements lead to a loss of space and therefore a reduced usable area.
This is where Geberit Silent-Pro SuperTube ensures optimal utilisation of the available space. The continuous air column in the entire drainage system vents the discharge pipe. Prohibited connection zones and bypass pipes for building drainage are no longer required. Horizontal pipelines planned with Geberit Silent-Pro SuperTube do not have to have a slope in the discharge pipe, up to 6 metres for a diameter of d110 and up to 4 metres for a diameter of d90.
With Geberit Silent-Pro SuperTube, there are none of the restrictions associated with conventional drainage systems.
Planning with Geberit Silent-Pro SuperTube Sanitary planning made easy
The proven planning tools Geberit BIM Plug-in and Geberit ProPlanner are available to help with planning a Geberit Silent-Pro SuperTube drainage system. These planning tools allow the drainage system to be modelled and validated quickly and without errors. Geberit Silent-Pro SuperTube follows clear planning rules for the entire stack. In addition to the generally applicable rules for drainage systems, there are two clear points that have to be taken into account:
- Geberit Silent-Pro Carve branch fittings are to be planned wherever swept-entry branch fittings were previously planned in stacks.
- The respective planning rules for Geberit Silent-Pro SuperTube must be observed for the transition of the discharge stack into a horizontal collector pipe or for the design of an offset.
Otherwise, the branch discharge pipes and collector pipes are planned in accordance with the local standard or DIN EN 12056-2:2001-01. Planning discharge pipes has never been easier.
More information on planning a Geberit Silent-Pro SuperTube drainage system can be found in our planning handbook.
